Actually, oil or sebum has benefits to maintain skin moisture and elasticity. Oily skin will experience wrinkles less. Oil or sebum actually has benefits in maintaining skin moisture and elasticity. But if produced excessively, the oil on the face can actually clog the pores of the face and cause acne. For those of you who have an oily face, you should pay close attention to the treatment so that the skin remains clean and free of acne. Now, this time Oatbits want to share information on effective ways to deal with oily faces.

1. Choose the Right Facial Cleanser

Wash your face at least twice a day. Use a facial cleanser specifically for oily skin. Use cleaning products that contain alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) such as citric acid, lactic acid, or glycolic acid. AHA can help to exfoliate dead skin cells and reduce oil in the pores. Wash your face using warm water, because warm water can lift excess oil.

2. Regularly Exfoliate Your Skin

It is recommended to regularly clean the face using a scrub at least 2 times a week. Scrub can clean the face into the pores, while removing dead skin cells on the face. However, avoid rubbing too hard, because it can cause irritation.

3. Sun-screen routine in the morning

Often the owner of an oily face is reluctant to use a sun-screen because the face will look oilier. In fact, sun-screen is an important thing to prevent the appearance of black spots, wrinkles and redness on the face. For oily skin, look for a sun-screen product specifically for sensitive skin or oily skin.

4. Moisturizer at Night

Having oily skin does not mean you don’t need a facial moisturizing product. In fact, a moisturizer is useful to help reduce excess oil and minimize the face so as not to remove excess oil. Moisturizers for oily faces should ideally contain Alpha Hydroxy Acid or AHAs such as lactic acid or glycolic acid, which does not clog your pores (non-comedogenic).
